Lexington-Rockbridge County Chamber of Commerce

The Lexington-Rockbridge County Chamber of Commerce is an organization of business owners and individuals who support the economic vitality and quality of life of our area. Our mission statement is simple, but broad in meaning and fulfillment. It states; the "Lexington-Rockbridge Chamber of Commerce is to promote business and commerce in the Lexington-Rockbridge County area." We are not an arm of the local government or a political, civic or social club.  Our goals and objectives are to market our members and to promote for their success. Marketing is a key component of our mission and is done through the internet (at www.lexrockchamber.com), through our membership directory, through referrals, networking, membership services and B2B Marketing (business to business).

The Chamber has six standing committees and does four events throughout the year. We sponsor our Annual Dinner Dance, hold a Chamber Expo, Chamber Classic (golf tournament) and the Rockbridge Food and Wine Festival. We are also the sponsors of a leadership program called Leadership Rockbridge. The Chamber holds informational forums to help business and legislative forums to educate the citizenship on important issues. We sponsor annually a "State of Community" Breakfast and the "Rockbridge People's Choice" Awards.
