A letter to our friends and neighbors
For years, the Southern Inn has been more than a restaurant on Main Street. It's been the table where you celebrated anniversaries and graduations, the booth where friendships deepened, the kitchen that fed this town through good years and hard ones. You trusted us with your most important moments, and that has been the honor of our lives.
On June 30, the Southern Inn as you've known it will close its doors for the final time.
The Next Chapter
This is not the end of our story, it's our next chapter.
As of July 1, we proudly carry our meals and service forward under a new name: Lexington Catering Company. The same hands in the kitchen, the same care on every plate, the same simple, Southern elegance, brought to you in new ways:
Upscale Catering — Weddings, milestones, and corporate events, crafted as custom experiences from first idea to final toast.
Family & Small Group Catering — Sunday dinners, reunions, and holidays, made beautiful without the work falling on you.
Meal Pickup — Takeout Tuesday continues from our new home on Waddell Street, with fresh menus each week and easier parking!
With Deep Gratitude
As for our home on Main Street, it will soon begin a new chapter of its own. We're glad to know it will carry on as a gathering place, and we wish those who come next every bit of the warmth and success this town gave us.
We're not going anywhere, we're simply trading our dining room for yours, your venues, and your celebrations. And to this town we love: thank you for every seat filled and every story shared. May the years ahead be every bit as full as the ones behind us.
